Just for Fun

February to me means Valentine's Day - as it is also our wedding anniversary!
38 years this year!

Anyway it's the beginning of February and the start of a new Just For Fun Challenge

The theme is Love and here is my DT card with the sentiment

I love you to the moon and back!

I printed the digital image of the moon with the sentiment several times -
this was from Blue Moon Creations -
on cream textured paper, red card and a beautiful handmade paper.
The cream was the first layer to go on my square red card base.
I then cut out the moon from the handmade paper, distressed it with 'wild honey' around the edges and stuck it in place.
I cut out the red heart from the red version and applied that too.

I then added three red gems and Miss Valentine - this is a free digi from
Free Dearie Dolls - which I printed out in colour and then cut out.

Hope you like my card and that you will join us at Just For Fun!

I am also submitting this to

Oh and please take a look at my Anniversary Blog Candy!

 Happy Crafting!!

  1. Oh Susan, I just love this card...that image is just darling and that sentiment is something I say to my son (and he back to me) almost everyday. How lovely to see it on such a beautiful card with such bright vibrant colours.

Thanks for joining us this week at One Stitch at a Time. Good luck.

  2. Wow Susan this is amazing - I love how you have used the images together in layers. You certainly don't need any more embellishments other than the three gems. This is the sort of card I would like for my hubby - not too slushy but very cute. Oh btw I love Dearie Dolls images!

Thank you so much for entering our challenge over at OSAAT this week, lots of luck to you.

  3. I've been mesmerized by the beautiful shimmery moon Susan ....It looks as though your handmade paper has loved your ink. Ahhhhh, your sentiment .....many moons ago, when my children were young, we used to say the same to each other ...whilst holding our arms out just like your little lady. Beautiful days and beautiful Valentine's card.

Thank you for sharing this lovely card in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx ( OSAAT Team )
