Imagine That! Progressive Challenge

Last weekend I attended a craft retreat - and had a wonderful time -
the first workshop was to make a a little album using papers from the
Graphic 45 By the Sea collection...

I will post more of this later BUT it reminded me I hadn't used the
Digi Of The Month from Imagine That!

My Sailmate is a super set especially for my sailor family!!

Anyway to quickly enter the progressive challenge - it is almost the end of the month!! -
 I made a few ATCs.

I printed out various pre-coloured images and sentiments from the set.
Each ATC is based on a 3.5 by 2.5 inch rectangle of blue card.

The first example includes the sailor boy and Ahoy with an embellishment.

I will link this to Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge

The second included the boat, waves and 'You float my boat' and some metal fish.

I will link my ATCs to the Imagine That! April Progressive Challenge

Wicked Wednesday #155

The Challenge at Wicked Wednesday this week is to CASE a DT make...

The Challenge is sponsored by The East Wind

All the DT makes are brilliant but the one that really took my eye was Suzi's using
which was coloured beautifully in pinks and reds.
I'm afraid I can't match that super colouring
so I took the image and added Distress Ink through a torn paper mask.

I had printed the image three times - so once coloured,  I trimmed them into small rectangles.
I matted and layered scraps of DP with these images and some of my webby ribbon.

I added heart brads and stick pins...

This is the final result - so I used the image and the colour scheme...

Crafting From The Heart #57

A new challenge starts today at Crafting From the Heart

always Anything Goes!

Today we have two sponsors - the first is Deedee's Digis

My card uses items from the School or Bust collection

I started with a square white card blank and matted it with paper from a paper stack once presented free from Simply Cards and Papercraft.
The image and sentiment were matted on brown card from my scraps,
the bus was coloured with promarkers.
Finally I added heart shaped gems on the wheels  a butterfly button and three wooden moose...

Our second sponsor is Just Inklined

This time I made an ATC using Alice

Again I used Promarkers to colour the image.
The DP behind the image was from CraftsUPrint a while ago.
The final addition was an eyelet with a key attached with white ribbon
(an excellent use for all those bits of ribbon found in the shoulders of new clothes!!)

I do hope you will pop over the Crafting from the Heart and join the Challenge.

While you are there you will notice that Crafty Girlz Challenges are up and running again

New Releases at Rosey Hearts

Today I am spotlighting another new Rosey Hearts image which I coloured with Promarkers.

I have made a card using this sketch from Cheerful Sketches Challenge Blog

I rotated the sketch through 90 degrees and used various papers from my scraps to make the layers - plus a strip of my webby lacy ribbon.

Finally I raided my button box...

This image is Cute Fairy...

Hope you will take a look at the beautiful images available at Rosey Hearts!

I will link this to Cheerful Challenges 23
and

I have just discovered that Crafty Girlz Challenges are up and running again

Today's a Day for "A Day For Daises"

A Day for Daisies  is sponsoring two of the Challenges that I have DT makes for today,
so as I have done projects on the same lines I thought I would do a dual post...

Firstly Left of Center has a new challenge

I made a trio of ATCs using Monster Molly

In each case Molly was coloured with pale Promarkers - and of course I added googly eyes!
I used scraps for the matting DP on back bases.

I also used a strip of my webby lacy ribbon.

Just right for the challenge 'Fun Frights' I think!!

Today I am also GDT for Simply Papercraft

The Challenge there is sponsored by both A Day For Daisies and Sassy Studio

The theme is Anything Goes or Lots of layers.
I chose to make another 3 ATCs in much the same fashion - this time using
but they certainly have lots of layers...

I added Butterflies made using the SU Beautiful Wings.

I will submit this collection to the Butterfly Challenge

I have just discovered that Crafty Girlz Challenges are up and running again

I will also link this collection to their first Challenge Anything Goes/April Showers

I hope you are inspired to join the Challenges I have mentioned!!

Dragons Lair Head to Head

I entered the Head to Head on Dragons Lair Fan Group last month - and won
the set that is to be used this month! Vintage Sunshine!

So what to make?

I printed a paper and a tag - on the tag I overprinted Vintage Garden Clock, cut it out and added a bit of colour with Promarkers and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.

I used Tres Belle Square Base Die on the paper.
I put eyelets of the two tag shapes and added ribbon.

Of course I had to add soem of mt favourite webby lacy ribbon - lime green this time:

Finally I added gold stickers 'with love'.

Hope you like it!
