Crafting From the Heart Challenge #66

Hi everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the blog hop associated with our last Challenge!

But now we move onto our next  CHALLENGE

#66 "anything goes"

We have two fantastic sponsors for you...

Offering a prize of a shop voucher
Dee Dee Digis

and Dr Digi
offering a prize of two digital images

I have made two items to show you - firstly a very simple card using Dr Digi's

Love it!!

The sentiment is from Dr Digi Funny Sentiments 2
I coloured Phyllis with Promarkers  and cut her out with a nesting die.
I added various other shapes using dies and scraps from my stash
on a white square card blank.
The purple and silver stars use a handmade paper I picked up in India.

Next an ATC using Deedee's Spring Blocks

Starting with a brown snippet I layered with a scrap of paper found in my stash - I also used two leaves from this to add to the image.
I printed the image three times and coloured them with Promarkers
 so I could make a 3D decoupage.
The first image I attached whole...the second provided the sycamore  leafr and a second layer of caterpillar...the third the caterpillars head. I used dimensionals to form the 3D effect.

The caterpillar's 'horns' are flower 'stamens'...

Look forward to seeing your makes!

Happy Crafting!

LOC Challenge #84

The Challenge that starts today at Left of Center
is 'Ink It Up'
sponsored by SLS

Yet again I have made an ATC - starting with a pink card base (2.5 by 3.5 inches)
I printed the image  Goth Girl with Fish on White Neenah (this is my inky bit!!) and coloured it with Copics.

I cut this to a smaller rectangle...
I then added a few embellishments...

Happy Crafting! Looking forward to seeing your LOC projects!

New Challenge at Creative Fingers #85

A new Challenge starts today at Creative Fingers

Always Anything Goes!

Last time we were sponsored by Melonheadz Illustrating and I  made an ATC...

I was very pleased to make Top 3 in their Challenge!

This time we are sponsored by Aurora Wings

Do go over and see the winners of Challenge #83 and what the CF DT have made!!

The Challenge is always Anything Goes so
today I have made a CAS card using Aurora Wings Poppy Digi

This could be a Christmas card as I have used a Christmas red card base and Christmas green card to make the additional layers.

I coloured the Poppy image with Promarkers and then used nesting dies to cut it into three pieces, matching each piece with a slightly larger green shape.
I then positioned as shown, similar to the triple stamping technique.

I then just added the sentiment -  silver stickers on a green oval.

I will link this to CHNC Challenge #234 -
I really must get a move on with my Christmas cards!!
And CHNC Extra for June - thank you Hazel!

Hope you will join the Creative Fingers Challenge!

Scary Fairy Blog Hop

Black Dragon
Dream In Darkness
Teresa

Lost Coast

Susan YOU ARE HERE!!
Kat

Hope you are hopping through the whole list above!! Lots of scary fairy things to see!!
Remember my last scary fairy page?

Well today I am showing you the other side...

I started with some sparkly paper matted with torn handmade paper from India...

Next was the 'moon'...

This was a distress sprayed home made stencil (made with a hot glue gun) on a scrap of old card.
I then cut it out and distressed it with Wild Honey.

Then trees from Tim Holtz Branch Tree die  - paper from my scraps...

Then the piece de resistance... my scary fairy...

This is Zelda Zombie Fairy from The Goblyn Workshop, coloured with Promarkers.

Finally a few gems on the trees...

Happy Hopping!

Yo Ho Ho...

Here's another inspiration using an image from SLSLInes

Today I chose to use the  Whimsical Pirate image in the Etsy Store.

I just made a simple card, starting with a small pale blue
  landscape rectangular card base.
I matted this with some DP from my stash (Stampin Up Nautical Expedition).

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then my plan was
to cut out the image with a nesting die as the current
SLS Challenge is to use dies or punches

I snipped around the cutlass so it wouldn't get cut off by the die...

However once cut I decided I would rather have it fussy cut...

Finally I added some sticky letters and charms to finish.

Hope you will join in the latest Challenge - Use Die cuts or Punches...

IKE'S WORLD CHALLENGE #40

I am very happy to say that I recently joined the Design Team of Ike's World Challenges!!
This is my second make!

The current Challenge (#40) is Elements...
We are a family of gardeners so my choice of image was easy...

I decided to use Ike's Gardener with Free Planter
and Earth from elements.

This is the front of my make...the image coloured with Promarkers.

The backing paper reminded me of trellis...this is my husband sitting in my Dad's garden! He had just had a tooth out so he wasn't up to gardening!

But I then decided to make the card into a slider...

Earth was coloured with Promarkers and I added a frame as shown!

I hope you will join in the Challenge over at Ike's World

Crafting From The Heart Blog Hop!!

Hi everyone!!

We are having a blog hop over at Crafting from the Heart

You should have arrived here from...Fiona

Here are my DT makes:

Using our first sponsor, Delicious Doodles at ArtiDoodles:

So pleased that DD is back!!

Firstly an ATC using Delicious Doodles Woodland Friends

I printed the image 3 times and coloured each image with Promarkers.
I then used black card to mat sections of the image to form a sort of triple stamped ATC.

My second Delicious Doodles make is a trio of ATCs using Steampunk Fairy

Again I printed 3 images but this time coloured them with Promarkers in different colourways. I cut them out with a nesting die and distressed them with Antique Linen.

I then used snippets from my stash in the Tim Holtz ATC die to make the backings...

I will link these ATCs to the

Artistic Impressions
and
Dream in Darkness
Challenges.

Using our second sponsor, Dr Digi:

This make uses Dr Digi's Deidre's Day Off

I coloured the image using Promarkers and used a nesting die to cut it out.

I used Worn Lipstick to distress the image (thought this colour was appropriate!)

and then a couple of Summery papers from my stash...plus some of my webby ribbon along the side.
I love this ribbon - I have it in various colours BUT I am beginning to run out of it!!

The sentiment is also from Dr Digi

I will link this to Crafting by Design Blog Hop

Our third sponsor is Sassy Studios

For Sassy I am going to share my make for the June Progressive Challenge on the
 Sassy Facebook Group

This uses Birthday Cake Sassy

Just a little ATC...I printed the image three times again so I could decoupage it - Sassy's arm and cake are in the second layer, the bow in the third.
I used Promarkers and the Tim Holtz ATC die again and added three buttons.

The next lady to visit is Sue

Here is the list of DT members that are taking part in case you get lost on the way!
