Crafting from the Heart - New Challenge

Moving on to our next  CHALLENGE "always anything goes"

I have two makes for you today - firstly a card using Summer laundry line from The Stamping Boutique.

I matted a rectangular card blank with paper from my stash and added the image coloured with Promarkers. I computer printed 'Wish you were Here!'  and matted each word on more of the DP.

Finally I added a Bugaboo freebie...

Next I made a set of ATCs using Isabelle Hat Lady...

Each image is coloured with Promarkers, cut out with a nesting die and and mounted on a snippet of card from my scraps.

Using a small this die I added head profiles cut from the same card as the bases and small yellow gems on the hats.

The Challenge that starts today at Left of Center

is 'USE MAINLY BLUE'

The image I used was Voodoo Doll

and I made a couple of ATCs...

The first ATC uses mainly neutral colours with just a touch of blue - the background is sprayed with distress inks. The image is coloured with Promarkers.

Finally I added a skull charm and a button...

My second ATC is mainly blue

This time the background is shaving cream and food colouring,
 the image is coloured with blue toned Promarkers.
I added two buttons to this one...

I have used Aelita and Jax coloured with Promarkers to make a simple card:

I used Halloween papers from my stash to mat and add a strip to a white card blank.
I cut out the image with a nesting die and finally added buttons.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge

I am currently on holiday in Australia so I don't have much crafting stuff!

But I did have the wherewithal to make a quick ATC...

The current Challenge at Wicked Wednesday is

Stars and Stripes

but mine is not related to the USA....

Using snippets of paper from two Bella! papers - Starry night and Something Blue Paperz, I put together the above...and then just added some buttons...

SLSLINES NEW RELEASES

Today I want to spotlight this super new image from SLSLines

This is Happy Cat Kitty

You may have seen me use it on this card blogged here

but today I decided to use it on a tag

I coloured the image with Promarkers, and then cut it out with a nesting die, distressed with 'peacock feathers'.

I used scraps from my stash to build up the tag  and added small tags to spell the word smile...

Finally I added some ribbon and twine.

QUOTH THE RAVEN GDT#2

I was very pleased to have the opportunity to be a guest designer for

QUOTH THE RAVEN

The current Challenge is to pick THREE from

Remember at the beginning of the Challenge I decided to create a fat page
 and this was the first side!

 Today I am showing you how I made the second side...

Again my first pick is PURPLE...

I decided to use some of that beetroot liquid in a spray bottle.
Here I am spraying on water colour paper through a Clarity Stamps Stencil

I decided this was 'Lenore'!

Again I added Seedless Preserves around the edges and then overstamped using masks with Smeared Ink stamps - a raven and a skull, Poe himself, some texture stamps
 and parts of 'The Raven'.

Two sides done!!

After this fat page I also made a card using Cats, Lace and faux Stitching...

This time my inspiration is the Poe short story 'The Black Cat'.
I used some SU paper on the card base with an aperture cut using a nesting die to reveal the image. This was the SLSlines new release Happy Cat, coloured with Promarkers.
Using a fineliner I added faux stitching around the image.

I added lace, a noose and a sentiment from Graphic 45 An Eerie tale.

IKES WORLD CHALLENGES #44

Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#44) is "FASHION"...and this is my midway post...

 I used Ike's HOT SANTA- coloured with Promarkers. 

Here is a Christmas tag...

I found some red card and sparkly striped card from my scraps on which to mount th...e image.
I then added a sentiment tag, ribbon and holly leaves (cut using a Sizzix die).
