Oddball Art Stamps

Watch your email for this week's image - Tis the Season!

Tis almost the season of Halloween!!

I decided to use the images to add more decoration on my altered box - I have already shown you pictures of how it looks so far:

Today I have added some more elements to the inside left hand side and outside back.

I used a patterned paper from The Other Side by Craft Box to print images from Tis the Season and added extra colour using Copic markers. I then used stitched tag dies to cut the various shapes adding narrow ribbon to each tag. I then stuck them in place...

Outlawz Progressive Challenge August

The August image for the Progressive Freebie Challenge at
is an image called
I have used the image to make a card, printing it, adding colour with Copic markers and cutting it out with a stitched oval. I then used it in a kinetic card.

The theme for Mrs A's current Butterfly Challenge is K for a Kinetic card and she gives instructions on how to make one here
The wheel is as follows but I have just used the fold, Kraft and butterflies.

Here is my card:

I used kraft to make the butterflies using Stampin Up Beautiful Wings. The base papers
was from a paper pad from The Works.

I will link this to the Butterfly Challenge #127 and also on the Outlawz website.

Butterfly Challenge - K for Kinetic card

I always enjoy the Butterfly challenge, trying to use some or all of the elements of the wheel including a butterfly. And this year it has the additional challenge of a different fold - always fun to try!

I was delighted when I arrived home from my two months in Australia to find a Butterfly prize!

Thank you Mrs A!!! And I am going to try and use it today...

The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge is K for a Kinetic card and she gives instructions on how to make one here
I have followed the instructions quite carefully apart from using a square die for the aperture.

First I had a look in my papers and scraps to find examples involving Key Lime, Kobe and Kobi
N.b Kobe = Dark Burgundy
       Kobi = Pink Lavender

Here is my card:

I used kraft to make the tags, happy birthday and extra butterflies. These butteflies are ones that I have used so many times over the years (Stampin Up Beautiful Wings) tied together with twine.
I used more twine to knot on the tags and a tie round the spine.

I will link this to the Butterfly Challenge #127

Addicted to Stamps and More Photo Inspiration #355

Here's my make for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Do pop over and see my teamies' makes!!

Today we have a photo inspiration!

This is also inspired by our recent trip to Fiji...

Once again I have used snippets of alcohol ink backgrounds to illustrate the sea and a palm tree. I then added a few tiny seashells... The card blank is a photo card blank with a circular aperture and I cut the palm tree freehand.

Hope to see your make in the Challenge!!

I will add this to Pixie's Crafty Workshop Snippets Challenge

Ike's World Challenges # 123 - Hats

Here is my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#123) H is for hats

and this is my midway post...

If you pop over to Ike's World Challenges you will find there is a super freebie to pick up...

You might like to use this for the Challenge - but your image is free choice!

I did use this some while ago to make a set of ATCs - but I am already thinking of Hallowe'en!

I used Ike's Witch Silhouette - she is wearing a hat!!

I printed the image on a piece of patterned paper from a 12 by 12 paper pad from The Works. I layered this on a white card blank with strips of brown and skull paper (from my scraps) on the sides. I then added a witch and a hat metal embellishment to finish.

Hope you will pop over to Ike's World Challenges and see the Design Team's inspiration for the current challenge - and join in!
