a pumpkin and a Happy Halloween sentiment!

If you are a PREMIUM member you get these plus some extras!

I have made another pocket letter - a collection of 9 ATCs which normally hide some freebie craft items and a letter behind - ready for sending to a friend!

I started each ATC with black card, then a scraps of paper from
Bats and Bones
and
Stay Creepy

I then added the pumpkins - coloured with Copic markers and cut out.
I added the sentiment to three of the ATCs - trimmed to size and distressed around the edges with Spiced Marmalade.

I then placed the ATCs in a sleeve:

Limited Runs Progressive Challenge #31 Sep/Oct

This is the current progressive freebie image on Limited Runs Stamps Facebook page
and I am quite early this month!!

Today I have made a teddy bear pocket letter comprising 9 ATCs.

I printed the image 9 times, coloured them with Copic markers, then cut them out. Something I could do easily sitting with my Dad - Mum has been in hospital with a broken hip and is now in rehab, so Dad needs looking after...

I then used a variety of pieces from my scraps to make the bases and matting layers of my ATCs.

Finally I added ribbon bows and gems - these are 4 of the ATCs:

The next one uses two strips of stamped image in red and brown in the background.

The next one uses a snippet of background formed by putting distress ink in an embossing folder.

You know those 'hanging' ribbons in garments - the small blue bows are made from some I cut out of some trousers...

I will add my Pocket Letter to Pixie's Crafty Workshop Snippets Challenge #361

with the theme 'Add the word JOY'.

Here's my card...

Recipe:

Once again I have made a twisted easel card using a white card blank with a diagonal fold across one side and an extra square of white card.

  1. To start I added layers of paper from Molly's the Craft Designer WINTER paper pad.

  2. The image and sentiment are from Imagine That Digi Stamps

I used the Precoloured image and sentiment, with faux stitching around the edges with a red fineliner.

The sentiment was layered on white card and the paper and placed on dimensionals to form the easel stand.

I have made two cards today...

Both start with kraft card blanks. The first is layered with a lilac card then a paper from Halloween Papers
I then added the image coloured with a variety of markers,  the sentiment and
the embellishments.

The second has a layer of silver, a Sizzix die cut of tree trunks from brown, hiding a triple stamped moon (Kitchen Sink stamps).
I then added the image, coloured with markers and cut out.

Addicted to Stamps and More CAS #359

Here's my CAS card...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Recipe:
1. White card blank.
2. I was going to stamp these Visible Image stamps from Christmas Chaos directly onto the card blank but having seen them against the white I decided it did need a little extra colour for this Christmas card.

3. I added a layer of pale blue 'water colour' paper to the card blank and stamped directly on this.
4. I added two turquoise gems.

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge!

Sew Sad Crying Skull

For this inspirational make
I have used the image Sew Sad Crying Skull  coloured with a Copic marker, and made into an ATC. I have also used a skull stencil to form my October calendar page:

The ATC part is basically the Oddball image cut out with a Tonic ATC collection die, a touch of colour added with the marker and faux stitching around the edge with a fineliner.

I added this to the calendar page on top of my skull element.

The skull element was made by putting black texture paste through a Visible Image stencil. I didn't like the totally black image so I removed some of the paste and used the Copic Marker to colour these areas red.

My creation is inspired by the current Oddball September challenge Spooky Spirits First Day

Ike's World Challenges 124 I is for Icy

Here is my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#124) I is for ICY

and this is my midway post...

If you pop over to Ike's World Challenges you will find there is a super freebie to pick up...

Victorian Street

You might like to use this for the Challenge - but your image is free choice!

I decided to use Snowman

SNOWMAN

I printed the image and coloured it with Copic Markers and then cut it out. I layered a white card blank with dark red card then the snow scene image from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. My printer may have delivered it in a slightly different colourway...

I added the image and the sentiment from Imagine That Digi Stamps on another scrap of dark red.

Hope you will pop over to Ike's World Challenges and see the Design Team's inspiration for the current challenge - and join in!
