My daughter and I decided to make some felt Christmas Tree decorations - with an Australian twist. Yesterday's were kookaburras.
However today we went for a different theme as Sophie and I had our nieces/granddaughters to play...

Jasmine (12) managed a flamingo of her own beautifully!

Happy Hopping!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 25 again;

This is my third year of participating - I really enjoyed it last year (and the year before!)

And when it came to Christmas, I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Day 25 sponsor is Pretty Pink Posh

Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...! Usually there are several that I am inspired by. Then visiting and commenting on other participants means that I see ideas that I have missed or see more inspiration!!

Here are my tags:

I was inspired by Tracey herself
on Day 25 with these lovely tags!

This time I went with the poinsettia!

These are my versions:

Recipe:
  1. The decoupaged poinsettia are from a design from Crafts-u-print from a long time ago
  2. I cut these out and layered them up.
  3. One came with its oval background; the other I added to a kraft tag.
  4. The sentiments are from Happy Little Stampers, stamped in black Versafine.
  5. Twine or red spotted ribbon.

I will link these to the main hop post

I love Winter! Winter is cold.

This is my make for the DT team of Outlawz

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:

Winter!

Author Unknown

I love Winter!  Winter is cold.

It's Christmas with sleds.

It's warm snuggly beds.

It's silver snowflakes.

It's skating on lakes.

It's snowmen that stand.

in a snowy white land.

It's blue jays that feed

on sunflower seeds.

It's angels that pose

in wintertime clothes.

It's a polka-dot sky.

It's winter. That's why...

I love winter.

Note:  The theme doesn’t have to be taken literally.  You may use any word or phrase out of it for your project.
Here is my card:

I started with a black card blank. I used three of Distress Oxides. I smeared these across the Stampin Up trees embossing folder and spritzed them with water. I placed a piece of white card inside and rolled it though my Big Shot. I then left it to dry...
I trimmed this to size and then added the image coloured with markers and cut out.
I then added some snowflakes and stars.

You will find this on the Outlawz  Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge on November 29th.

For this month our sponsor is: Lemon Shortbread

with a prize of 3 images!
