A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'For a child'.

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

I started with a teal background, adding a layer of white and then patterned paper. (This was from Imagine That! Digistamps). I drew faux stitching with a black pen.
I stamped the sentiment directly using black archival and a Stampin Up stamp.
The snowman was made using a Stampin Up punch and scraps from my stash.

More Gecko Galz Inspirations

At the beginning of the month I mentioned all the Gecko Galz Challenges - but April has been a very busy month for me - on the 4th I became 70 so there were many Birthday celebrations - then my schoolteacher daughter was on holiday so she stayed for a couple of weeks. We enjoyed many trips including a week in Tasmania...

Anyway it has meant I am only just playing in my junk journals to use the freebie images from some of the challenges...

Do check for the May challenges which will be available soon...

This first image is from the MONTHLY Gothic Challenge

The second image is from the Steampunk Challenge

The NEW Stamp Challenge provided this image where I added colour with shimmery water colours, using similar paints and washi tape in the background.

WOYWW #673

   WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #673

This is where I am working today:

I was preparing the backgrounds of some journal pages!

I'm afraid I couldn't join in last week - my daughter and I had gone for a week away to Tasmania. No chance of blogging!  But my temperature blanket began to include some blue!

We had a brilliant week in Tassy - here are three pictures from the week:

Addicted to Stamps and More - Birthday Challenge #428

Here's my Birthday project...for Challenge #428 at Addicted to Stamps and More

This card is one of my favourite folds for 'special' Birthdays. The style of card is a Multi Panel Accordian fold card - I first saw this demonstrated here  - I adapted it slightly so that I could cut the pieces using my Cricut.

I used plain textured cards from my stash and papers from a nautical paper pad from Kaisercraft.

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! Do hop over to see the fabulous inspiration from my team-mates!

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I have again been using Cosmos Minis by Karen Yates

Last time I made ATCs. This time I have used the images on junk journal pages. Colouring them with shimmery water colours and Inktense pencils, fussy cutting them and collaging the pages with the images and various die cuts.

The sentiment is from a page of sentiments by Elisa Ablett.

CHNC challenge 591 for 23 April 2022 - snowman or woman or family

A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Use some green'.

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

I printed the image (Skinny Snowman from Stamp on It) directly onto  card that I could fold into a one layer card.
I trimmed this and added colour with markers.
I then stamped the sentiment three times using a Stampin Up stamp.
You may remember I used this same stamp a few weeks ago.

Ike's World Challenge #155 - Add an animal

This is my make for Ike's World Challenges!

Just a quick FYI... Ike's images can now be found here:

I have used Cheshire Cat on a journal page - one of my favourite images!
I printed this on patterned paper, added colour with markers and cut it out.

The page in my jounk journal was book paper. I added green acrylic paint with a brayer and then real through a stencil. I added a little black pen at this stage and then glued the cat in place.
The sentiment is from Visible Image.
