Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Term 2 Post #14

This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 2022 - Term 2!

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

This was my last inspiration - I had quite a lot of flowers left so I thought I would use them up.

They came from Modern Misses by Annette Gearside printed on a Gelli Pull.

I started by using Lost Shadow Distress Paint on a double spread. I then used Payne's Grey paint through a brick stencil to form the background.

I used images from Michelle Grant's Girl Next Door on top of this.

I printed the door and windows on a brown patterned paper, painted them with water colours and cut them out. The girl I printed on white and again, painted her with water colours and cut her out.
Finally I added some penwork in black and white.

WOYWW #716

    WOYWW

How can it be Wednesday again? Thank you to all of you who commented on my blog last week - hope I get round to more of you this week!

Anyway I am linking to the Stamping Ground!

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #716

I have just come in from Aquarobics class again so I am late again. I go twice a week plus a hydrotherapy session. It really helps my hips and knees...

This is my desk today - I have been showing you the table recently - this is the view if you look the other way!

I am in the process of making some seahorse cards - Art by Marlene stamp which I have stamped then water-coloured.
I have also been making some corner pop up cards - the current theme on Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge.

This is my most recent Wanderlust spread:

To finish at the weekend Sophie and I went to the Blue Lotus Water Gardens which is amazing!

These always remind me of many visits to Kew...

Wishing you a happy week...

Happy  WOYWW!

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #536

The end of last week and the weekend somehow passed by in a blur - I missed some of my DT commitments and this was one of them...

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is mine:

The current colour scheme is as follows - I chose to use the right hand column - Honey Butter, Sage and Pewter.

The base I made was of sage and then I used papers and a tag from DCWV Botanical Beauty, plus golden butterflies.

Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

The fold I have used is the current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #178 is C is for Corner Pop Up Card

and she gives instructions on how to make one here

This is the wheel and colour scheme for the Butterfly Challenge.

In my second card I have used a citron base with the other colours in the papers I have chosen from the Botanical Beauty - camel is behind some of the pictures of the roses. I also used some checked paper.

I will link this to Challenge #178 using all the elements from the wheel.
