The Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge #5

I enjoyed participating in the Cat Lovers Hop for several years -

so I am happy to join in
and remember our dear friend Janis Woolbright.

I decided to make a fifth card for this challenge.

I started with a white slimline card matted with red card and a Stampin Up paper.
I then added the image coloured with markers and cut out. I then added glitter glue to the hat, beard and tail. Finally I added a sentiment sticker.

The image is Leigh's new Santa Puss

 So let's celebrate Halloween!!

It is already Halloween here in Australia so this will probably be my final post!
Yesterday our two year old grandson helped us get organised!

As usual we decorated the sewing machine!

And as every other day, I will add the daily retro Halloween postcards from

What a perfect Halloween postcard illustration from 1911! My absolute favorite. Thanks to artist Ellen H. Clapsaddle!

I like to share something old and something new...

When I got the Halloween box out, I found cards I had been sent in the last two years - so I decided to put them in this year's Halloween album.

I intend adding this year's cards to the album too...

Kevin has also added to the decorations:

Can't wait for dark!!

My new make... a simple card using a background from Michelle Grant stamped with an Aall & Create stamp. I coloured this with markers.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

 So let's celebrate Halloween!!

WOOHOO - we are almost there!!

As usual I will add daily retro Halloween postcards from Vintage Image Craft

These awesome Halloween postcard invitations are circa 1920. I want to go to the party!!!

I like to share something old and something new - two 'cat' pages from last years album.

I printed out some more Leigh's Stack o Carved Pumpkins for this page in two sizes, coloured them and cut them out. The ATC used a Gecko Galz ATC background.

This had a lot of those Kate Crane Kooky Cats stamped and coloured with markers. Once cut out I added them to a black pebble embossed background...

My new make... another altered book. This weekend has been a virtual retreat and this was based on Tanya Froud's class - great fun!
I prepped the book while I was away looking after the granddaughters last week. Yesterday I added colour with sprays and distress ink and added Tim Holtz ephemera and embellishments.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

 So let's celebrate Halloween!!

As usual I will add daily retro Halloween postcards from Vintage Image Craft

I love seeing illustrations of witches having a grand old time on Halloween! These enchanting Halloween postcards are circa 1910.

I like to share something old and something new

My main project in 2021 was a Halloween album.

This page featured a flap which flips over the page.

I used Leigh's Once upon a starry night svg files to form this flap - these may not be on Leigh's new site yet.

I added the Tim Holtz geo bat across the aperture.

The flap folds back over a second page which is layers of papers from my stash and includes Tim Holtz Branched Birch die cut.

On the lower part you can see one of Leigh's sentiments which are scattered through my book.

My new make... a couple more pages in this year's album:
