I have just read that Julia has decided it's time to bow out - :(

Congratulations to you on a great 15 years and happy crafting in the future!

So here's my desk on this auspicious occasion:

I am in the process of producing another journal page (LHS) - there are only about three pages left in this book which I put together myself.

So far I have started on the collage with book paper, music paper and some paper that has been formed using it as a stamping off page.

I about to add some journalling with the InkTense pencils.

On the table easel you can see a couple of past creations. The top canvas I made during the recent virtual retreat but I also used it as one of my Gecko Galz inspirations.

This was after watching a workshop by Emma Zappone - I just had to use elements from my stash.

I have also been making a variety of cards - I particularly like this one as my Dad was a champion sweet pea grower. The image is a freebie from Beccy's Place

I have made a simple card again using images from Gecko Galz.

Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - New Term #1

       This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I have used the images from Michelle's Renew.

 I have used these to make a set of cards!

I printed the images, coloured them with Indigo Blu translucent acrylic paint and then trimmed them.

I used papers from BeeArty's Full Circle set designed by Michelle Grant Designs to emphasise the faces with vintage photo distress ink around the edges.

The words came from the set too.

Beccy's Place May Challenge

When I saw this image in Beccy's Place I just had to use it -

 my Dad was a champion sweet pea grower!

Beccy's Place May Challenge contains the additional element Flip a Coin.

My flips gave me Square, Coloured Cardstock, Liquid pearls, Ink the edges, Faux Stitching.

I started with a cream card blank matted with some green cardstock. I added two pieces of the paper on Beccy's Place next and then the image printed and trimmed to size. Around each rectangle, I used a fineliner to add faux stitching and distress in in vintage photo.

Finally I added liquid pearls - they are a salmon colour although the photographs make them more golden.

Color Dare Challenge #600

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

This picture shows the challenge - 

The paper I used to provide the various layers in from Bee Arty Full Circle designed by Michelle Grant Designs. It included the colours in the middle row. I used a neutral card blank and distress ink around the pieces.

Finally I added a  neutral flower embellishment.

I then added a couple of tags...

These are my makes for the Gecko Galz

MONTHLY ATC Challenge

with a freebie image set.  

I used the ATC backs on scraps of card and then images from the image set.

 

I then added a variety of brads.
