We are now in week two of our road trip - I will post more photos below.
I have been adding more to my index cards but they are not finished. I will be photographing them when I get home and share then...
I have been adding mainly collage with some paint markers and water colour.
I think I have already completed theme #6!
I have done a little bit of crafting apart from my travel diary and the ICADs. On Friday was a zoom craft and chat with the UK Stampers Network. I didn't get up to join them but I did make the little house pockets from envelopes which was the workshop. These were based on this
You Tube video
Plus I am up to date with my road trip diary...
So far we have driven more than 3400kilometres... we have stayed 3 nights at each of the last two places - apartments with a bit more space and the chance to do some washing. Our last stop is 4 nights in Airlie Beach.
I will just add a few pics from our trip here:
At Rockhampton we crossed the Tropics of Capricorn.
This was the view from Mt Archer.
We went up to Mt Morgan and saw the railway museum.
Also at Mt Morgan, a viewpoint across the valley.
Rockhampton Botanical garden and little zoo.
Emu Park... Singing ship dedicated to James Cook.
A cane train crossing a bridge over Platypus beach. We were at the wrong time of day to see a platypus.
This morning walking through a mangrove boardwalk.
And then in a museum at Proserpine.
Looks as if you are packing in loads to your trip - great photos, and well done for keeping up with the crafting, I am sure you will catch up when you get home. Happy WOYWW Helen #3
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying coming along on your travels! That museum reminds me of Milestones, with the snapshot in time room. Can't wait to see your ICADs :) I'm really enjoying the process, as I have every year I've done it.
