Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #883
First of all I must mention Neet, who very sadly passed away in hospital. Although we never met in person, I feel I know her from her blog. I so wished she would be able to post again...my condolences to all who knew her well...
I will look for ATCs that she swapped with me for next week
Here is my workdesk:
Rather a mess as I have been busy catching up with the workshops from last week's virtual retreat.
On my desk last week was the start of a page inspired by a workshop by Kate Crane - I have finished this - this was the background:
I continued the journal pages inspired by Niamh Baly:
This is this week's Tiny piece of Art. This month the theme is Easter/Furry Friends so this is my fifth page of May: - the theme is Furry Friends using magazine images and tissue. I used an image from Conjurer of Dreams as the main image. this is from the Facebook group and this month's colour challenge.
I have started thinking about my ATC for next week, ready to be placed on my desk. However if anyone would like to swap with me (I am in Australia) please email me
Happy WOYWW! I did manage to get round to some of you last week but I hope I do better this week.

Thanks for sharing your tribute to Neet, and thanks for the sentiment that inspired my memory of her.

I was blessed to meet Neet a number of times in 2012 and once in 2018, she was such a gem. Some beautiful work BJ. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteLovely journal. and Kate Crane is such an inspiration too. Neet was indeed a special lady and she was a genuine online as she was in person so you really did "meet" her thru WOYWW. I'm scouring all my hidey-holes for her ATCs too. Missing so many deskers this week. Much love to all.

Lovely tribute to Neet, funnily enough your journal pages reminded me a lot of her style too.
