31 Days of Halloween 2026 Day 16

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog.

This is my 13th year in succession of participating in 31DOH!

That must be an auspicious number!!

I am joining in with the 2026 Crypt Keepers Countdown to Halloween

This is my Day 16.
Here is the next page in my Halloween junk journal.
It is a bit different from previous ones as a flap opens to show the recipe pictured on the front - Trick or Treat Brownie Graveyard Bars

I added penwork as on the previous pages. The stamps at the bottom are from Hero Arts Autumn Bounty stamped and painted with water colour.

I added a tag with another recipe displayed on it.
Pumpkin and Cinnamon Custard Tartlets.

Both recipes came from an old UK Dairy Diary which my aunt used to buy me every year.

This page was prompted by the Halloween Challenge - Autumnal Recipe.

I also have another spiders make...

This used a background paper from crafterschoice Spooky Background Paper Pack
on a kraft card blank, stamped with a spider.

Round the edges I placed parts of a Visible Image sunflower embossed in black and painted in watercolour.

I usually share a postcard  from Vintage Image Craft.

1912 was a fantastic year for Halloween postcards, filled with vibrant and cheerful illustrations.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Happy Hopping!!

  1. I love the bookmark. And the card looks like the cover of a book I have.

  2. Happy 31 Days of Halloween! Love your tags with recipes-great idea! I didn't get to do all 31 days this year...but I got some projects done. Glad to see you doing it. I'm playing catch up right now and I'll be back to see more of your 31 DOH projects.
