Monday Mojo 318

Well things are getting sorted in this new apartment -
I have just had 'curtain men' in to measure up...
They say they will be made by Wednesday -
I hope they end up OK as making myself understood was a bit of a problem!

My craft room is sort of organised - not sure where anything is but at least I have access to my table!
Hopefully I will soon get my 'mojo' back!!

Talking of which I saw this sketch for Monday Mojo 318 and thought it was a really lovely design...

I was thinking of my friend, Lizette, left in Abu Dhabi, whilst making the following version -
in particular the ribbon was from a trip together to find embellishments in Naif Street Souq, Dubai.

I started with a square, cream pre-folded card blank.
I matted this with beige card and then blue spotted vellum.
I stamped the sentiment I would like to send to Lizette on a blue tag.
I used paper from by scraps to punch two hearts and the banner.
The whole was embellished with faux stitching using a Promarker with a fine tip.
I used dimensionals to layer the hearts and tag...

Hope you like my card!

Happy Crafting!

  1. I hope your curtains turn up on time and as expected. Your little card looks lovely, and a great interpretation of the sketch. Such a nice idea to incorporate something you bought when you were together onto a card for your friend.
