May Monthly Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop

Have you arrived here on the May Monthly Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop?
If so you should have arrived from Black Dragon and your next step is Susan S!

If not do think about starting from the beginning in the list below!

This month's challenge was 'WATER'.
So I decided to used a water based medium for my projects:

I had these two digis on my work table -
"Zen Houses" from Lavinia Stamps and "Dead Dancer" from Smeared Ink.

I added some blue re-inker to my non stick work mat, spritzed it with water, and blotted it with my printed image. I spritzed again to make a lighter shade and blotted again. I then left it to dry.

With the Dancer, I smeared 'fired brick' Distress Ink onto my mat and then used a similar process.

This is the tag I made with the Dancer - I trimmed it, distressed it with more 'fired brick' and then matted and layered onto a tag shape. I added a few embellishments as shown.
The Challenge over at Tag Along is Moulin Rouge - it made me think dancers so I hope this tag sort of fits...

I made a birthday card for my friend Bee-Linda
with the Zen Houses, trimming and distressing with 'China Blue',
 matting and layering as shown.
The sentiment and bee stamps are from Get Inky!
Then I just added a few gems...

I will link this card to
