Midway Reminder of LOC Challenge

The current challenge at LOC is "Spring Fling" with sponsor Delicious Doodles.

You can make what you will of "Spring Fling"...
 but for my DT inspiration
I decided not to use lots of Spring colours
but rather just concentrate on the butterflies in my image -
so my card is black and white with a touch of blue.

I had the pleasure of using Delicious Doodles Fairy Fae!

I used a sort of  'triple stamping'  technique by printing the image several times then cutting the first out whole, the second half an inch smaller in each direction and then the third one inch smaller.
I matted each piece onto slightly larger rectangles of black card.
I then added Promarker sky blue and fine glitter to the butterflies before layering the three pieces together onto a square white card blank.

I cut the three butterflies from another image, decorated them as on the main image
 and added them as shown.

Then...this is my Pink and Girly version:

The butterflies on the side this time come from Delicious Doodles Free Awareness Set

but I was just too late to link this to the
Delicious Doodles  Challenge 85 Pink and Girly for Breast Cancer awareness
Hope my first card will fit the new challenge #86 - white on white (with a touch of blue!!)

I will also link it to
Feeling Crafty Challenge #28

Hope you will join us at LOC!!

Happy Crafting!
