ART Journal Every Day

has the following prompt...

This month your prompt is "THINK GREEN". You could use the color green, or you could be "green" and recycle or reuse something on your pages. No matter what, have fun! We really enjoy seeing all of your lovely pages!


Just remember that your entry must be stamped somewhere! Multiple entries are accepted as long as each meets the challenge requirements. We love when you use Smeared Ink stamps but it is not a requirement for this challenge.

(digital and rubber stamps are accepted)


Well I really had fun with this one!!

I am still working on 6 by 6 chipboards to add to my book...



This time I started with a piece of water colour paper and added some texture medium through a 'splat' stencil. This was just a kid's plastic stencil that I found in 'Brands For Less' in Abu Dhabi. We used to go in there all the time when we lived in AD - it stocked an amazing variety of cheap stuff from Germany! 

I spritzed it with water and then splattered it with a variety of inks...
and allowed it to dry.






Next I added stamped images from Crafter's Companion Splats and Stains.



And some adhesive letters and ribbons...


Finally I added some card candi and some mesh...
