Challenge #9 at 12 Months of Christmas - OH CHRISTMAS TREE!



I was delighted to be invited to join the Sleigh Belles team of the DT
 of The 12 Months of Christmas Link up...

This is my first DT make...for the September Challenge - OH CHRISTMAS TREE!!


The Challenge runs from September 1st to September 30th and the optional theme is
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

If you celebrate Christmas, do you put up a Christmas Tree each year?  If you do, do you opt for a real one, a fake one, a small ceramic (for those who live with curious cats like I do) or some other kind of Christmas Tree?  Do you put it up right after Thanksgiving, wait until Christmas Eve, or maybe put it up somewhere in between?  Most families have their own traditions passed down which they continue from year to year.  The decorations people put on their trees are as varied as the trees themselves!  Some are sparse with their choices and others make sure that very little green is left showing.

In order to have a chance to win the prize of 3 digital stamps
from our wonderful guest sponsor  Fresh Brewed Designs this month, there should be a decorated Christmas Tree somewhere on your card.

 Even if you don't follow the theme you have the opportunity of
earning a free digital paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles if you link up a minimum of 
two cards to the challenge - can be 'anything goes'. You will also have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies. 

 The mini set of six digital papers called Treemendous, will also be offered up as a prize to

 one random winner.

So here's my make:



I started using a square white card base matted with a polka dot paper from my scraps and lalyered with a paper from DDD Treemendous : DDD_T_glitter_trees


I then added the Fresh Brewed Designs Image
which I coloured in zentangle fashion with fineliners and added buttons...


Next I added Christmas Holly coloured with Promarkers


Finally I added a button with twine...
