This year preparing for 31DOH has been a bit of a challenge -
We went on holiday for a total of 5 weeks during August and early September arriving back to receive the keys of our new house - my craft room is just about organised now!!
BUT - what's different from last year?? Maybe next year it will be different...!!

Anyway last year I did a whole lot of different projects for 31DOH - this year I decided to make one thing and contribute to it during most days during October.

It is a Halloween album...this is stage one...

I started with a few pieces of yellow A4 card and first made these two nets:

I distressed all edges with 'ripe persimmon', joined them together and matted the front side with digital paper I obtained from PixelScrapper

I then made a small motif to go on the front, when the box is folded up to enclose the album.

Images from SU's Halloween Hoot were stamped onto a small square of paper from Graphic 45's An Eerie Tale. I distressed this with 'scattered twigs' and layered it onto a piece of brown card, also distressed around the edges.
I then added the owl embellishment and this was ready to go on my box...

Here is the box put together...it measures roughly 6.5 by 4.5 by 1.5 inches.

See more tomorrow!

Happy Crafting!
