Every year I make some crafty resolutions...
but this year I really do intend to try and keep these...
- Make three Christmas Cards per week.
- Use some of the unused stuff is my stash before I buy anything else.
- Get Inky and use lots of different techniques and folds...
So when I saw that the Less Is More Week 259 Challenge was to use the Kissing Technique
I decided to have a go...
Yesterday when we woke up and looked through the window this is what we saw:
I decided a nice warm drink was in order!
In my stash I found these stamps in a freebie set from Get Stamping magazine.
I arranged them on my small Fiskars Stamp Press and chose Ballet Blue and Chocolate Chip inks.
I coated all the stamps with Ballet Blue, added a dab of chocolate chip to the sentiment and used
a Darkroom Door texture stamp - Star - to kiss the mug...
These were my original trial stampings:
The first card blank I used was white pearlescent - it did not like the ink...
However I did like the effect on the mug...
I then moved on to a plain cream card base and this time the kissing technique worked very well...
I will link this to the Less Is More Challenge
Happy Crafting!
