There are many superstitions about stepping on cracks in the pavement - but this pocket letter has been inspired by "Don't step on the cracks or the Bears will get you" - or the monsters...
First I took some card that I had coloured with shaving foam and food colouring and then overstamped with Versafine and Lost Coast Designs Crackle Background.
I then cut these into a set of rectangles 2.25 by 3.25 inches and placed them together...
Next I overstamped these with the Lost Coast Designs Mini Cracked Critters Set One which were inspired by cracks in the sidewalk - a set you may remember I won recently...
I then mounted each rectangle on a piece of red textured card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)
Next I added fronds from a peacock feather...
And finally some pearls in black and red...these are the individual ATCs
And here they are as a pocket letter:

Awesome use of the background stamp and the Cracked Critters!! I like how the stamping seems random, but isn't. LOL Does that make sense?? Love the addition of the pearls and feathers too!! Thank you for sharing your super project with us at Lost Coast Design!!
ReplyDeleteWow, love how you used the cracked critters here. Your additional elements and individually matting each piece onto red card stock really pulls it altogether. Fab. Thanks for joining us at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity :)
