Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!
The current Challenge (#58) is "LUCKY ME!"...and this is my midway post...
I am celebrating St Patrick's Day (March 17th) and using Shamrock Bear which you will find as a freebie on the Ike's World Blog.
I am also using other elements of Ike's Holiday Mini Pack - St Patrick's Day
My make is a shamrock basket with tag:
I think I am pretty lucky having a Silver Bullet cutting machine - I used this to make my basket...
I used a free pattern from Dreaming Tree, with pale green and dark green card,
distressing the edges of the large shamrock with 'Mowed Lawn'.
I tied a celtic ribbon around the base.
I used pale green brads to attach the handle and another to add the small shamrock on the top. I attached a little Kiss Me I'm Irish tag to this.
Next I made my tag to tie on the handle - underneath the image (coloured with Promarkers) there is a distressed dark green tag, a layer of pale green card, then open mesh ribbon and a Spellbinders Medallion die cut. At the top I added a small tag decorated with an Irish hat.
I found another appropriate ribbon in my stash.
I will link this to Incy Wincy's Challenge Shades of Green
I hope you will join in the Challenge over at Ike's World
- look for the freebie image on the blog!!
Happy Crafting!
