It is ages since I opened my journal so here's a quick page I put together over the weekend...
This is continuing my work with Color Burst powders and tree images - you might remember my makes from this post
I have been clearing out clutter at my Mum and Dad's - several boxes of old books which have unfortunately fallen apart - so I used some pages of this one as a first layer.
I then added trees - cut with a Tim Holtz die.
Next a scattering of Color Burst powder and spritzing - and a bit of painting to the bottom...
Next 'black soot' distress ink around the edges to focus our eyes in...
My facebook/crafty friend Amanda sent me a RAK of some Halloween goodies -
so I decided to add this cat die cut...
Finally I added a sprinkling of sequins...
What do you think? Fun to do anyway...

I need to get the Color burst

trees. Love the kitty.
