A Year of ATCs? - Day 261

This is my Day 261 of 'My Year of ATCs?'!

You might notice I am gearing up to 31 Days of Halloween!!

This image is from Dragons Lair Designs - unfortunately now closed.
I have been playing with some different backgrounds - this is the rice technique.

I started with a page of water colour paper and misted it totally with water.
I then added dabs of reinker with a paintbrush.
I then sprinkled on a handful of rice and left it to dry.

This was the result - I used one corner yesterday - I have snipped out another rectangle for today's ATC.

I layered this onto some blue card and added the cut out image.
The embellishment is a gravestone button!

    Haven't tried the rice technique.
    Have to put it to the test.
