A Year of ATCs? - Day 335

This is my Day 335 of 'My Year of ATCs?'
Today is the day we start opening our advent calendars...

 Here is the Advent calendar I put up every year - ever since our 4 children were small - they are grown up now so Kevin and I have to eat the chocolate...

This year my sister and I decided to do Advent calendars for our parents - Mum's is M&S but we put together one for Dad using a Hobbycraft house:







 - so I thought I might make a set of Advent ATCs.

 It's time to think about Peace, Joy, Love...

 For number 1, I wanted to illustrate Peace...wishing that we can have peace in our world...





Recipe: 
Base: green card
First layer: bird cut from old Christmas card.
Embellishments: Gold embossed number 1. Peace cut from old Christmas card matted on green.

    I had not thought about doing advent ATCs or even a advent calendar this year...oh, my! I like this idea! Your peace theme card is very beautiful!
