Crafty Hazelnut's Weekly Challenge #378 - Inspired by a Christmas Song or Carol.

a new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Inspired by a Christmas Song or Carol'.

Do pop over and see the inspiration from my teamies!

Here is my card:

I started with a small (4 by 4 inch) card base and matted this with green card.
I stamped the image (unknown stamp), added a little colour with Zig real brush pens and cut it out with a Tonic ATC Collection die. I added 'mowed lawn' distress ink around the edges.
Finally I stamped 'Deck The Halls' (part of a Stampin Up stamp) and punched it out. A little more distress ink and that's that...

The problem with a song inspiration,
the words are then running through your head all day...

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la! 'Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la! Don we now our gay apparel, Fa la la la la la la la! Troll the ancient Yuletide carol, Fa la la la la la la la! See the blazing yule before us, Fa la la la la la la la! Strike the harp and join the chorus, Fa la la la la la la la!

I will link this to a new CAS Challenge CAS CHRISTMAS Card Challenge

I hope you will join the
CHNC challenge 378

Happy Crafting!

  4. LOL, do you get those ear worms too? But I love to sing Christmas carols anytime! Love your holly too and the way you've colored the edges and left the center. Very artsy! Your sponging around the edges of your die cuts is amazing. So even and perfectly done! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
