I will be sharing today's Halloween make on Leigh's page....
OK - so how many of you noticed the hint on Leigh's page a couple of days ago?
Why? It is the anniversary of Poe's death:
If you want to check out more interesting facts about Poe's death go here
Sorry - couldn't resist adding that...
So...some of you may remember the ATC box I made for Leigh's Poe Appreciation Hop in January - it was an altered whisky box which turned out to be just the right size for ATCs:
It featured images from Ike, Vera Lane and Leigh. One of the ATCs in particular used Leigh's Oddleigh Edgar Allen Poe
Today I have two more Poe ATCs to show you...
I used Leigh's Poe Love and Distressed Splatter Heart and because I recently acquired a secondhand laser printer and a foiler, I foiled both the images a couple of times in green, blue and purple.
I cut the splattered hearts out with an oval die and distressed these round the edges with vintage photo distress ink. I then stuck them on scraps of marbled background, trimmed then and distressed the rectangle with vintage photo. I then added these to scraps of purple card. Next I cut out the parts of Love Poe, added distress and a touch of colour with Zig brush pens and stuck then in place.
Not sure if you can see the foiling...

👻HINT HINT
Oct 7 is Edgar Allan Poe day! You'll want to share a Poe themed project on Sunday!
Why? It is the anniversary of Poe's death:
During a lecture tour of the East Coast, Poe engaged himself to a former childhood sweetheart (by then a wealthy widow) Elmira Royster Shelton back in Richmond, but he died while passing through Baltimore on October 7, 1849—just ten days before the wedding.
