If you have been reading my recent posts
you will know that I am on holiday in Australia at the moment

We are spending the current fortnight in Paynesville with our daughter Sophie (who is a teacher and is on school holiday) and near our youngest son, his wife and two daughters.

Usually I get chance to do some crafting with the granddaughters... Di may remember the mosaic cards we made last time we were here - this was mine of a pelican...
We have seen plenty of pelicans this trip - and other wildlife!
The shells were tiny so I thought ATCoins ... A T C Shells...
I started by cutting scraps of card into 2.5 inch circles and covering them with snippets of material.
I distressed these around the edges with black ink and then glued on a shell pattern
My daughter and Isabell (my 7 year old granddaughter who had already sorted the shells into shapes and colours!) then decided to join in...
Isabell decided she also wanted to do a 'love heart'.
Sophie's were fairly minimal using scraps of shark fabric.
Isabell chose scraps of a shiny silvery red fabric
Happy Crafting!
These are wonderful Susan, some very talented young crafters there as well - and I certainly do recall your lovely pelican! Enjoy the rest of your holiday - we're currently roasting here in the UK.
