~~~~~~~
So... things have been pretty difficult round here for the last few weeks - Mum ended up in hospital with a broken hip, about 3 weeks ago and in the meantime there has been Dad to look after - he has carers 4 times a day but cannot be left on his own. This has meant I have not spent much time in my craftroom - or even at home!
Finally Mum left hospital and went into rehab and Dad went for a few days respite, making it a little easier. They should both be home tomorrow...
Anyway I was not sure whether I would be able to do 31Days this year - but I am going to try...
I have been thinking of what I might do this year - whether I will be able to make a 'major project' or whether it will be lots of small things. Today I am going to share a couple of my calendar pages.
I did start putting things together with my calendar in September - I have not put this on my blog before:
This was mainly formed using die cuts using Tim Holtz Sizzix tree and Halloween dies. The pumpkins were cut from alcohol ink backgrounds.
(You will see that Twistoon image Witch Craft coloured up, soon all being well)
The moon is triple stamped using stamps from Kitchen Sink.
Finally I added some faux stitching around the sentiment with a fineliner.
But now it is October 1st so I can turn on to my October page!
You may have seen this a few posts ago...
I have used the Oddball image Sew Sad Crying Skull  coloured with a Copic marker, and made into an ATC - basically the Oddball image cut out with a Tonic ATC collection die, a touch of colour added with the marker and faux stitching around the edge with a fineliner.
I added this to the calendar page on top of my skull element.
The skull element was made by putting black texture paste through a Visible Image stencil. I didn't like the totally black image so I removed some of the paste and used the Copic Marker to colour these areas red.
Happy 31 Days of Halloween!
