25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 1 revisited

I came across this for the first time last year - and really enjoyed it  - and when it came to Christmas I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Last year I didn't get started until the 11th day - this year I made sure I got started on the first day!! Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...!

The thing is, with each post there is so much fabulous inspiration - it is hard to choose just one (or two).

So this is my second pair:

I was inspired by Virginia Lu on Day One by this fabulous tag:

Altenew-HelloWinter-Wunderlust-Virginia#2

Day 1 showcases Altenew - one of the sponsors - I love their products and have quite a few - but unfortunately none that would suit my design...

Recipe:

  1. I used a Tim Holtz tag die (Sizzix Stacked Tags) to cut  tags from a background made from 'Peacock Feathers' Distress Ink 'smooshed' on to watercolour paper.
  2. I stamped the trees using a stamp from Stampin Up's 'Lovely as a Tree' in green and dark pink.
  3. I drew tangled lines around the edges using a fineliner and added pink pearl effect drops.
  4. The stickers are from The Craft Stall 'Festive Foil Statement Sticker Book'.
  5. I added pink ribbon.

I will link these to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!
