LeighSB's 3rd Birthday : Month Long Hop - Day 24

This is another post for

Today is Day 24... April 24th!

Ike is sponsoring Leigh's hop so today I decided to use one of her images...

The current challenge at Ike's World Challenges

is Challenge (#131) P is for Paper Piecing so I wanted to use this technique and

I have used Cute Unicorn.

So many people around the world are displaying rainbows in their windows as a message of hope and a thank you to all the health workers.
I made one for the window - and then wanted to use this image of Ike's to make a card.

I used Jennifer Maker's svg files and my Cricut for the window rainbow.
.
But having learnt so much about my Cricut, since I got it 6 weeks ago, I used Ike's rainbow image to make my card background and paper-pieced it:

I then folded this to make a card base...for some reason this next picture has totally changed colour!

I decided it needed an edging... faux stitching with a fineliner:

I then printed Ike's cute unicorn, coloured it with Copics, and cut it out:

I will link this to Leigh's 3rd Birthday page
Hope you will join in too...

Happy Crafting!
