LeighSB's 3rd Birthday : Month Long Hop - Day 27

This is another post for
LeighSB Designs, all April long, Blog Hop.

For more details hop over to Leigh's page

Today is Day 27... April 27th!  Only 3 days to go and we will be into May!!

Today I have just been playing with the spider from
Whimsical Oddleigh Lizard boy and Spider

I was thinking of a redback spider, quite common here in Australia...

First I made a couple of ATCs - printing the image twice, adding a little colour with Copics and cutting them out.
I added them to some scraps of Brusho through a stencil background (I was trying to get an idea of webs) on black bases.

Initially, the spider pieces did not show up, so I added a gold highlight.

Ike is sponsoring Leigh's Hop so for my other make today I combined the spider with
Ike's Ivy Corner. I added colour with Copics.

Having trimmed the image I added distress ink around the edges and added it to a card blank matted with a leafy paper from a Francheville Summer Life paper stack. I also outlined this with a  fineliner.

I will link these to Leigh's 3rd Birthday page

Hope you will join in too... only a few days left now!

Happy Crafting!
