Once again Leigh is hosting a
Blog Hop to keep us creating and crafting!
I am finding Leigh's hops a real inspiration during these days of lockdown...
This is
LeighSBDesigns Art Stamps'
The Summer BUZZ Blog Hop 2020
Celebrate Summer with Us!
See HOP POST for details and rules!Play fair and have lots of fun!
Stay Inspired and Stay Safe!
Today's make is a Double Z shaped card
The image is from Leigh's Honey Bees and Sentiment Set
It was coloured with Copics and trimmed to size.
This fold reminded me of when I was on a Crafty retreat with the UK Stampers Network where I made these:
However the Z shaped card is the current fold for the Butterfly Challenge
and I will link this card there.
Mrs A shows how to make the fold here
The Butterfly wheel is as follows:
I used a striped (Zebra) Zinc paper as the base then a Zigzag paper next including light Purple and Flesh tone.
Next I added the image matted on moss green card followed by a scattering of butterflies (using Stampin' Ups Beautiful Wings - a very old favourite)
Finally I added some orange die cut bees (an Apple Blossom die)
so that the theme was followed through.
I will add this to “The Summer BUZZ Blog Hop”
Happy Crafting!
Your Z fold card looks so smart with the HoneyBees!
