The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #144 is A is for Accordian Fold card.
and she gives instructions on how to make FIVE versions here.
This is Version 4.
Mrs A goes through the process in the tutorial.
Hey Mrs A ... 5/5!!
I hadn't realised how tiny this version is...
The wheel is as follows:
Once again I have used the colours Apple Blossom, Apricot and Aquamarine.
I started making the base, belly band and die cuts in a pink card - 'Apple Blossom'.
My die cut pieces are from the Tonic ATC Collection Die sets - I made 5 because I was not sure if I would use one of these on the belly band - or the pink coffee cup die - this is a Stamplorations die, as is the sentiment. The coffee cups on the white die cuts are stamped on patterned paper using a Uniko stamp and cut out.
The butterflies are die cut using Stampin Up's Beautiful Wings. I am onto my second one of these dies and I don't know how long this will last!!
Still couldn't decide which one to go with...
Which one do you think?
I used to ties three of the butterflies together like this all the time some years ago...
Anyway... I quite like this version...
Before I forget I also want to share this with
Lots of snippets used in this tiny card...
Love your card Di - those stamps are so cute!
Yes I would love to win but I am in Australia now!
Happy Crafting!
You are such a prolific crafter! I like the version you have chosen. Visiting Mrs A is going to the top of my list. x
ReplyDeleteThought you would want to make it 5 out of 5. This is lovelyand you can of course size it up to make bigger . I have that SU butterfly die but still on my first one. What a good idea to tie three of the dies together. I must give that a try. I like the first belly band the best. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me again. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Susan - you're in the pot to win! I post to Oz fairly often and it's fine - do say on my blog next time you want to be in a draw as I almost missed this one. Oh I do love that SU butterfly set - still on my first one though. Wonderful cards as well - clever you!
