It's time for the red white and blue!

My daughter had this idea to make a stump in the garden into a bird table:

And very soon we had birds on it...

I then thought I would make a little paper bird house with my Cricut.
This was a free file from Miss Mandee

I used a selection of red, white and blue cards from my stash.

I then used the Tim Holtz Patchwork Bird Die to make a bird on a peg.

Thanks to Suzanne you will also find my birdhouse as an inspiration in the

Happy 4th of July!

  1. Love your little bird feeder, we have a tree that we will be taking down but because we have so many pigeon and dove visitors I don't think my husband wants to invite more. Now if we were still back East he would do it. Lovely idea. Well, back to your paper birdhouse, love it and I'm going to add it to ColorMyHeart Color Dare Design Team for yesterday's challenge.

    1. Thank you Suzanne... I will add a link above! We get all sorts of birds in this garden - not sure how the veggie patch will fare. Certainly the red cabbage plants my husband planted have disappeared!!
