This time it is to celebrate CHRISTMAS in JULY

As we have just entered another 6 weeks lockdown here in Melbourne
it will definitely keep me busy!

This time last year we were also in Australia - on holiday. We were staying with our daughter in North Brighton. Last year they celebrated Christmas in July on Bay Street. I wonder if they will do it this year?!

When I made the bookmarks in one of the earlier hops, someone said what a good idea they were for slipping inside a book present - I agreed and so today's make is a bookmark.
This was pretty difficult to photograph in the plastic cover so I am adding a couple of photos so that you get the idea.

Basically I folded a 4 in wide piece of paper (from crafterschoice Minerals 12 by 12 paper pad) in half and stuck it together. I then cut it down to 10 inches long to fit the plastic sleeve.
I added 3 pairs of trees from Winter Yeti Build-a-Scene set, printed,
coloured with Copics and cut out.
I then added a wooden deer, some snowflake confetti and a button 'Snow Day'.

On the second side I added a hand made sticker (Distress Oxides on self adhesive paper, over-stamped with a sentiment and cut out)

I will add this to Leigh's Linky.

Happy Crafting!

    1. Here quite a lot of the restaurants and people at home do Christmas in July as the weather is more suitable for a Christmas dinner...on December 25th it's much better to have a barbecue
