25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 2

This is my third year of participating - I really enjoyed it last year and the year before!
And when it came to Christmas, I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Day 2 sponsor is Simon Says Stamps

Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...! Usually there are several that I am inspired by. But I don't always have the sponsor's products.

Here is my tag...

I was inspired by Lin Brandyberry on Day Two illustrated here: - so pretty!

Here is my version:

Recipe:
  1. Tag behind is cut from a Imagination Crafts card.
  2. Tag in front is white card run through a Cuttlebug embossing folder
  3. The foliage is cut with a Tim Holtz die (Festive Greens), the bow also a Sissix die and Joy is from a Tattered Lace ornament die.
  4. Finally I added the ribbon.

I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!

  2. Susan, blue is my favorite color and it looks great on a tag for Christmas! I love the mix of patterns, embossed and with papers - everything works beautifully!
