Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos Day 3

I was all ready to start this and then suddenly I was caught up in all manner of Christmas preparations so couldn't get near my computer, never mind my craft room -
I have several projects left in progress!!

Anyway as the theme is Reindeer Games I had planned to use images from

The poem A Visit from St Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore has always been a favourite... (see the poem at the end of the post #2) including the lines

“Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!

Day Three's theme is Anything but a card:

I decided to make a small gift box - big enough to take a tea towel. It is 5 by 7 and half an inch deep, cut, scored and folded from a piece of 12 by 12. As the net is 11.5 inches wide it just fit on my Cricut mat...

To decorate this I have used Comet..

Again I used then paper from the 12 by 12 pad Australian Animals and Christmas Trees by Jocelyn Proust.

I cut the image with a die, in my Big Shot, in two pieces to add some interest.

Then I added some embellishments.

I will link this to Day Three of Catch The Bug Holiday Chaos.

"A Die-lirious Holiday Season

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
I used my Big Shot for the die cut image.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister
I used a ribbon to tie the box together

Thing 2: Double Dare
I will also link this to Bitten by the Bug having used my Cricut and Big Shot..

Happy Crafting!
