Catch the Bug 11th Birthday Challenge Day 1

It is the 11th Annual Bugaboo Birthday Bash at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog

I am hoping to participate in each day's challenge but so far I am running late!

Day one is a Birthday project with Woodland Creatures - well, I have a little bird in a woodsy Background...

This is actually a tiny card - a three by three inches black card blank matted with a background using Brushos across a white wax crayon resist - I rubbed the crayon across a white paper on an embossing folder.

I have been wanting a tiny die cutting machine for some while - more efficient with tiny dies - and on Wednesday this arrived from Amazon:

So I had to try it!
You can see the die set I used in the background too. It is from Creative Expressions - Craft Dies by Lisa Horton - Stitched Collection - Festive Birds.

I added the twig, the pieces of bird (all cut from scraps), googly eyes and Happy Birthday stamped in Black Archival (a Happy Little Stampers stamp)

I will link this to Catch the Bug Challenge Blog Day One.

Happy Crafting!
