What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #605

          WOYWW

It's Wednesday again - so I am linking this post to the Stamping Ground.

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 605!

Again in my messy area in my utility room - in the process of stencilling and Tracy Scott's Crazy Collage Houses workshop. I will show you how it goes next week...

I did finish Niamh Baly's workshop. Here's what I left you with last week.

This is what it became:

Quite appropriate as today is Epiphany!
The crowns are die cut from Ferrero Rocher foil wrappers.

So - Christmas was put away this morning and the house seems very bare. We had a quiet New Year - we are now wondering what 2021 will bring. I know that many in the UK are again facing lockdown with all that entails. Here in Melbourne we again have a handful of new cases. Everyone is being very cautious and hoping we will not return to how it was.

Keep on crafting!!

This week is the start of Wanderlust 2021 so that has kept me a little bit busy.
I completed my Week 1 page:

And had another go at some of the bonus lessons  - in October I did Kate Crane's scribbly tiles and used them on the back of the journal I was using then.

This week I made some more and put them on the covers of a current journal.
I was interested to see that the yellow streaks didn't end up being very random.

This week has been quite a week for journaling - I will just share one more page that I did yesterday...this was for the Oddball DT - you will see more details if you scroll down my posts.

I was also quite pleased with the cards I have been making with my Cricut:
a multi panel accordion fold

and a side fold card

Wishing you a very happy 2021!

Happy WOYWW !!

  2. Susan, what a creative time you've had! I haven't joined Wanderlust for a year or two as I lost way with it - loving your first page! Your version of the page from Niamh's workshop looks amazing. Happy WOYWW and stay safe. Helen #2

  3. You've been so busy! I love how the figures transformed that colourful background - I have die-cut metallic wrappers as well - nothing goes to waste! I did Wanderlust a couple of years back and it was great, but I couldn't commit myself again for a whole year. It will be interesting to follow you throughout your journey and get a glimpse behind the scenes! Thanks for your visit last week - I've just left a comment on your previous post as well. Hope all goes well and Australia can avoid a further lockdown. xx zsuzsa #26

  9. I love your cards and pages and I still have a large box of Ferrero Rocher's left! I always save the foil wrappers. Hubby's the one who finds them and thinks they're rubbish!

I love the Three Kings! And am really impressed by your card using your Cricut! I recently purchased a used Scan N Cut. I have not mastered it yet.

  14. You’ve been fabulously busy. LOVE the colours being currently employed. Your Niamh Baly page is completely different now! a brilliant three Kings, but such an unexpected change that I had to keep comparing the before and after pics! Fab work off your Cricut too, someone will love that card. Stay safe, we are indeed back in lockdown and I very much hope that won’t happen to you!
