What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #606

        WOYWW

It's Wednesday again - so I am linking this post to the Stamping Ground.

Well - I managed to visit a good number of the desks this last week - but I was having a bit of trouble with my Christmas present - a new tablet. Only used a desktop or a laptop before so I am learning the new ways. Anyway somehow I kept leaping to posts on 604 rather that 605...

And I wasn't sure if I would manage to post this week - I have not really been at my desk - rather all over the house...

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 606!

I am actually at the dining room table playing with the Christmas present my daughter gave me. It was a kit to make a tiny room...

With lights...

And then next I am at the kitchen work surface with my new toy... I had wanted a tiny die cutting machine for a long time - so here is my Sidekick. I was pretty impressed as it arrived this morning having been ordered last night!

(The die sets are all new too.)

I have also been in my messy area in my utility room -I finished  Tracy Scott's Crazy Collage Houses workshop.

Now that Christmas is put away I was pleased to get my drying surface back (it had an array of wooden Christmas trees on it over the festive season). An excellent spot for my spray box and splattering!

Which brings me up to Wanderlust 2021 and week 2 with Laly Mille. I am just about to start Stage 3 of this having got this far with Stage 2.

We have been having some amazing sunsets this last week - so to finish here's me talking to the ducks at the bottom of our garden...

Happy WOYWW !!

  1. Wow on your tiny room, amazingly intricate and wow too on your houses collage, love it! Your next work looks like a colourful garden of lupins. So your garden backs on to a marina or a river? How lovely to be able to wander down of an evening. Happy WOYWW Angela #10

  6. Hi Susan. Oh wow. That room is lovely - what fun - and so much detail. Well done. Glad you have all your surfaces back now. The garden painting is coming on well - we look forward to stage 3. That sunset is stunning - and what a "bottom of the garden" you have! Beautiful.
    Take care. God bless.

  7. Wow, Susan! love the room, and the class from Tracy looks great fun too. I keep thinking about getting a table, the phone screen is so small for viewing on from the sofa, and it's less comfy at the pc! hope you get used to it soon. Helen #4

  14. Susan, your miniature room is fabulous! I've just left a comment on Annie C's blog directing her here because she really ought to see this! It must have taken ages to assemble. I love your album page - beautiful. The crazy collage houses are great, too - love the colours. Enjoy your new little die cutting machine. I've still got my original Cuttlebug which looks about the same size.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  17. Hi Susan, my but you've been busy! your teeny room looks fabulous. I love those room kits and I have that very one waiting to do, they're briliant aren't they. I've become addicted to making miniatures and learning how to make them from everyday bits and bobs - makes you look at junk in a whole different way! Love your take on the Laly Mille, it's beautiful. Annie C #34
