This is a Herringbone card and is the current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge and I will link this card there.
Mrs A gives instructions for these here with the following associated wheel.
This is version 111.
Firstly I followed Mrs A's instructions to form the Quilter's design Herringbone pattern. I used papers from my scraps which were of the colours Heatwave, Hansa yellow and Hazel.
I trimmed this and actually turned it upside down to fit my card blank. This has a punched edging - I put more of the background paper behind this.
Nice job with this, Susan. Those papers are a good choice for this design.
ReplyDeleteOh Wow, the gold with the wheel colours looks super. Thankyou for trying versionIII. I love how you have turned it around. Great thinking. Thankyou for coming and spinning the wheel with me. Hugs Mrs A.
