What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #609

 WOYWW

Just realised that it is Wednesday again -

so better write a post to link to the Stamping Ground.

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 609!

It looks rather dark as I am taking the photo towards a bright window.

Also it has a dark cloth on the table. When I left the UK, I left my waterproof crafting tablecloth behind (bright pink with tulips). I bought more of the fabric here but noticed it rolled up in the corner the other day. I cut the piece in half - half went on here - the other half in my messy area (see below). It is black with coffee words all over it.

Anyway - on my desk you may be able to see new goodies. I won a prize from Uniko and these stamps and stencils are what I chose...

I am in the process of applying Gelatos through a Chrysanthemum stencil.

You can also see my diary balanced on my Cricut.

This is my messy area - part way through another journal page.

So what else to show you? A taste of what I did in January 2017 - That year I challenged myself to make an ATC every day - these are a few...

And what have I done to show you for this January? Quite a few Journal pages...

From Doodling like Tracy Scott to Wanderlust pages...
Two tries at Week 4 and not really happy with them...

This last one is Week 5's with a photo of my grandmother...

Hoping you are all keeping well...

Happy WOYWW !!

  2. Lovely pages - really love the first with the doodles. I am so crap at doodling so it looks good! Interesting to see gelatos thru a stencil. That is a technique I never thought would work! Hope to see the final page at some point, but I might have to jump the gun and give it a go myself. I love a new technique....

    Happy WOYWW to all!

  3. Put the Gelatos on the stencil, then rub with your fingers into the spaces.

  4. Morning Susan. Congrats on your prize. Enjoy using it all! Great pages - you have been busy this week - unlike me!! That ATC challenge you gave yourself was some challenge! Did you complete it? Certainly the few you have chosen to show us today look great. Well done.
    Take care. God bless.

  5. Your journal pages are great! I particularly like the teal coloured pages because it's one of my favourite colours. Even though it has florals on it, it reminded me of an under the sea type image with the natural colours at the bottom. Well done on the prize win too! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #2

  8. Cool that January page is fabulous, I love everything about it! In fact you’ve used lovely bright colours throughout your post today which brightens up a dull Welsh day for sure! The chrysanthemum stencil is lovely and looks very Japanese, I do like it.

  14. What lovely projects, Susan. I especially love the journal page with your grandmother on it. I've got pictures a bit like that of mine - she was quite a fashionista in the 1920s! I've also got photos of her in her VAD nursing uniform in WW1, and a collection of very touching letters written to her by the soldiers she nursed. I love your collection of ATCs as well.

    Happy WOYWW,
