Baby Animals

This is my make for the DT team of Outlawz

Sunday - Songs and Rhymes

For the month of May our sponsor is: Sherry West Art with a prize of 2 images!

Find inspiration in the song or rhyme:

Baby animals
Soft and sweet.
Tiny mouths,
Eyes still asleep.

Some have feathers
Some have fur
So brand new
They hardly stir.

Baby animals
Oh so small,
Come in spring.
We love them all!

Sue LaBella, Education World's early childhood editor, is a former teacher who loves writing poems for young children. She especially enjoys writing rhymes that make children smile. Susan lives in Connecticut with her family and her bulldog named Daisy. She has written fun rhymes to fit many themes.

Note:  The theme doesn’t have to be taken literally.  You may use any word or phrase out of it for your project.

Once again I have made one of those pop-up aperture cards.

This is white rectangular card blank from which I cut apertures using Nellie's Choice dies from a Nellie's Multi frame Set, and a small heart..
Sherri West's image is coloured with markers, and placed behind the apertures inside the card, and as you can see just part of it is showing.

I covered the front with turquoise card before die cutting the apertures.
My sentiment is also from Sherri West.
I added several Memories Magenta Style stickers to decorate the front, in the same style as the image.

The image inside was placed turquoise card then on a scored and folded blue card platform so that as you open the card it moves a little.

You will find this on the Outlawz  Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge on May 16th.

Happy Crafting!
