Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!
This is today's colour scheme
I have used Almond, Desert Rose and Sage in my card - plus black, white and gold.
Basically my card uses a background - a pull from my Gelli plate. I put blobs of white gesso on the plate with drips of appropriate alcohol inks on each. After brayering this about I did the pull.
Recipe:
- White card blank
- Layer of black card with a strips of gold washi and background put together about a third of the way across and from top to bottom.
- Two rectangles of background matted on gold.
- Sentiment stamped directly - a Stampin Up stamp.
- Gold butterfly sticker.
- I then decided it needed some doodling...
Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...
Happy Crafting!
Ooooh I love how you created your own paper with the inks and gesso. Its really effective. Perfect adaptation of the sketch too. Your doodling just adds the perfect addition.
