Color Dare Challenge #454

This is another make for the

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme

This is another card using the velveteen technique where a background, stamped white ink on white card, sometimes heat embossed, is over stamped or stencilled with more inks.
One video I have watched is here.

I used a number of different background stamps used with Brilliance Archival in Moonlight White. Some I embossed using clear embossing powder.
On these I used stencils with the marker airbrush.

One tip I picked up in the above video is that it is a good idea to apply the ink to the stamp and then press the card on top of it. The stamp I used today is the Stampin' Up Tree Rings stamp.

I then used Tracy Scott's stencil in another colour with my marker airbrush.

I trimmed this and added it to a white card blank matted with blue card.

I then added the Dyan Reaveley deer image cut out and sprayed with more marker.

Finally I added the sentiment - words cut into spaces.

Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

Happy Crafting!

  7. I love the colors but more so I love the mixed media feel of the card. Mixed media is hard to do well and, I must say, you are very good at it... Thanks for the inspiration teamie!
