Once again LeighSBDesigns is hosting a blog hop.
This time it is to celebrate CHRISTMAS in JULY
First of all I would like to re-share this card from last year's Christmas in July.
This was made after watching a you tube video...Iced Images... to make a pair of envelope cards. This is the first card.
It uses a paper I created using Leigh's Winter snowflakes,and the tree is from LeighSB Designs A Very Yeti Christmas Festive Add-on Pack
Next I am sharing a card I have made today using a paper from the Graphic 45 pad.
This was to a design which Jo shared in a Craft and Chat Zoom with UK Stampers Network.
By the way if you are in the UK they are organising a face to face retreat in October!
(Wish I could go!)
Anyway first of all I practiced making a bow...this was after watching a you tube video
The Graphic 45 paper was actually a bit thick but I managed...
I used the one from Indigoblu magazine paper to make today's ICAD!
~~~~~~~
The idea is that the card is a surprise present...I just added some of the stamps from the paper pad inside but you could add any motifs. As the 'parcel' pieces are put on dimensionals maybe thicker embellishments or chipboards or 'puffy' stickers would work nicely.
I will add this to Leigh's Linky.
Happy Crafting!
Both of your shares today are fantastic! I vowed last year to try the top card so maybe this year?? :) The package card is really, really amazing! The bow alone is a work of art!
