Playing with alcohol inks...

We are in lockdown so last night my daughter and I had an online craft and chat session.
These photos are from Sophie's end.
We were playing with alcohol inks - but not spinning this time.

Basically using Yupo card and dripping with blending solution and inks - then blowing about with either a puffer or heat gun.
We also dripped through stencils and left them to dry...

These are my results:

I planned to use some of these backgrounds to add to my junk journal:

I started this a while ago and keep adding the occasional page.
It already has some steampunk pages - and I thought I would add some more.

Each page is 5 by 7 inches, so I started by cutting a piece of black card and backed it with one of the kraft patterned papers from my stash.

I then chose to use the two alcohol ink backgrounds top middle in the picture - both using neons (fluro burnt orange and fluro flamingo).
The stencilled background became my first layer.

With the second piece I prepared some ATC backgrounds on black card too.

I then stamped these with steampunk animal red rubber stamps.

I added some white penwork.

I then chose three of them and added them to my background.

I am also adding this to Leigh's Hop

Happy Crafting!
