Once again Effy is doing a month-long Blog Challenge on Facebook. I thought I would share some more 'diary' posts, along with some of the crafty things I have been doing.
Fortunately both Tom and Clare had negative tests... But today's news about Covid here in Victoria, is that the daily number of local cases has hit a new high. The government has confirmed poor compliance with restrictions at construction sites which meant a shutdown of that industry was unavoidable. This has led to protests...
Today's starter picture is a memory from Facebook - a sunflower almost out! From our allotment in the UK, 6 years ago. Maybe I should try and paint it... I have been doing a bit of painting today, but very basic little sketches using watercolour. This was part of a Wanderlust class which I may finish tomorrow.
My most recent journal page is this - there are full details on the previous blogpost. Autumnal - although we are at the end of Spring! It is quite strange to get used to the opposite seasons now that we are back in Australia again.
We turned the boat over but the weather has been too cold for Kevin to carry on with his next task.
Hopefully I will have more to say tomorrow, See you then!
I'm so sorry COVID is on the rise for you guys. <3 Hang in there, eh?
ReplyDeleteIn Poland we have also been having record days again, and protests. I am still glad for your negatives. Keep safe!
ReplyDeleteI love your autumnal painting. So sorry about the rise of Covid there. Glad Tom and Clare tested negative. Stay safe <3
ReplyDeleteGlad you are all staying safe. That sunflower must have looked glorious when it was in full bloom!
ReplyDeleteI wrote about sunflowers today and was intrigued by your beautiful picture. I'm sorry about your increase in covid cases but glad you are all safe. Take care. <3
